New Teacher Support Website

The new Teacher Support Website has just been launched at http://teachers.cie.org.uk  

Welcome to the new Teacher Support Site, for which the user administration process is now more flexible and secure. The new website will continue to be available to all ESSARP Centres.
When users of the previous Teacher Support Site log on to the new site for the first time, they will be guided through a transitional login process, at the end of which they will be assigned a new username. This is made up of six letters taken from the user's name, plus a number, to ensure that the username is unique. For example:

John Smith

would become

smithj1

(or, if this username already exists, smithj2, smithj3 and so on, until a unique username is found).
Please note that once the transitional login process is complete, the user will be logged out of the site automatically. From this point on, users will be required to log in with their new username. Their password remains the same, unless they choose to change it.

What's New

Syllabus Shortcuts
You can now set up shortcuts on the home page to give you immediate one click access to the syllabus pages that you use most often.

The syllabus pages have been redesigned. Material is now available in three sections:

• Syllabus Materials
  Syllabus Materials contains syllabuses, past question papers, specimen papers and related documents. These are now grouped by year, with materials for each session grouped together to make them more easily accessible. The last 5 years of question papers are available.

• Teaching Materials
  Teaching Materials contains Schemes of Work, Frequently Asked Questions, links to Discussion Groups and other material related to teaching the syllabus.

• Resource Lists
  Resource Lists contains a list of material suitable for teaching the syllabus, which can be filtered in various ways.

Site Search
You can now search the entire Teacher Support Website by entering a search term in the search box.

Find Training Courses
The site now contains an events and training area where you can search for CIE training courses and conferences including online and face to face training.

News and Announcements
There is a frequently updated news and announcement section where you can find news of interest to teachers and principals.
