"Celebrating Assessment: Pathways to Enhanced Learning"
The 2008 ESSARP Conference was held on 6 and 7 September, bringing together assessment and leadership experts from US, Canada and UK.
The ESSARP Conference is recognised as a major event in the Professional Development of ESSARP schools. Under the theme of "Celebrating Assessment: Pathways to Enhanced Learning", the conference gathered around 210 teachers and heads who had the opportunity to share their experiences and reflect on new educational trends.
The keynote speakers were Dr. Thomas Guskey, Georgetown University; Mrs. Kate Ruttle, University of Cambridge, and Mr. Ainsley Rose, The Leadership and Learning Centre. The concurrent sessions were delivered by ESSARP school teachers and course coordinators.
The conference was held at Posada Suiza, San Miguel del Monte and has proved extremely popular with delegates already booking for the 2009 edition.
