TKT - Teaching Knowledge Test 2009

TKT is a new test from Cambridge ESOL about teaching English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world.

TKT Recognition


Since the TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) was launched in 2005, it has proved a popular choice for governments and institutions looking for a way to certify English language teachers. There is a growing understanding that learners of English require qualified and knowledgeable teachers, and TKT is rapidly gaining a reputation as the most effective means of ensuring a qualified profession.
