Glennis Oliver
She is a British-trained teacher who has taught in London, the Caribbean and Argentina. Her teaching and management experience is wide and includes all areas of school. As a freelance educator, she has lectured on various educational issues and has developed teacher-training modules for use in local bi-lingual schools.
Heads, coordinators or people in posts of responsibility.
To give Heads and coordinators an opportunity to look at common issues from other angles and to share their difficulties and solutions within a supportive climate.
First session
- Introduction to Head to Head. - First theme "The buck stops here..." - Avoiding stress. Clarifying the role of a Head and the building of a team through delegation. - Sharing challenges – choosing themes for 2009 sessions.
Varied with each session.
Presentation of latest research and the background into each theme leading to main discussion through group work and the sharing of experiences and solutions.
