Silvia Rettaroli
Lic. Silvia Mónica Rettaroli is a Teacher of English, graduate of I.S.P. "J.V. González". In 1998 and 1999, she worked as Foreign Languages Co-coordinator, Research and Educational Development Unit, Ministry of Culture and Education. She has worked as a School Manager at bilingual schools in the Buenos Aires Province She has also worked as a Pre and In-Service Teacher Educator at the ISP "Dr. J. V. Gonzalez" (1985-1999) and "Presbítero Sáenz" (1999-continues).
Subject teachers and English language teachers working in any school section.
- Raise awareness of the relevance of the CLIL methodology and how to apply it at the different school levels.
- Provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and understanding to obtain the TKT:CLIL certificate issued by Cambridge ESOL
Session 1: CLIL.
Session 2: Language skills. Session 3: Communication and Cognitive skills. Session 4: Planning and delivering lessons. Session 5: Resources and materials. Session 6: Activity types and scaffolding. Session 7: Learning skills, learning strategies and differentiation. Session 8: Assessment.

- This 8-session course includes a variety of activities which provide integrated coverage of the 4 Cs, opportunities for the study of the CLIL methodology as well as awareness and evaluation of the CLIL teaching methodologies.
- At the end of each session, participants have the opportunity for reflection on the value of the topic or activities to themselves and to their own students.
- The TKT: CLIL course covers the contents of the ESOL Exam for teachers called TKT: CLIL. Therefore, participants will have the opportunity to choose to sit for the exam on any of the exam sessions.
